Day 2 – Community Media Week

10.00-12.00pm Community Media Cafe – drop in to discuss community media and becoming a community reporter.

A team of community reporters will be visiting from the Evington Echo organised by editor, Helen Pettman.

12.30-1.30pm Young Reporters Media Project – join the ‘Young Reporters’ of the ACE project & Junior DNO for an interactive session about the many free tools available for any young person to become a reporter.

The workshop includes a visit to the Phoenix Square Cube gallery to view the digital art project by Layla CurtisAntipodes.

“The exhibition will feature an installation of live webcam feeds, alongside animations distilled from the streams of webcam footage recorded on the Antipodes website.

Highlighting both the distance and the difference between us, Antipodes reminds us how technology is bringing us closer together.”
